Uncovering the power of cross-ethnic teacher assignment: Insights from the Israeli education system
What is the long-term impact of placing Arab teachers in Jewish elementary schools? We study this question in Israel, using a quasi-experimental design across 120 schools, we examine how daily, sustained contact shapes prejudice among students, parents, and teachers. This project offers new insights into intergroup contact by focusing on children and institutional change in conflict-affected settings.

The Impact of Institutional Changes on Minority Achievements, friendship and prejudice
Situated at the faultlines of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Hebrew University is home to a growing population of Palestinian students. In a series of studies, we test institutional interventions that aim to boost their academic achievement, foster friendships across group lines, and reduce prejudice—offering scalable strategies to promote equity and inclusion in divided educational settings.

Listen for a change?
What if listening could make your argument more persuasive? In this project, we explore a new form of listening—not to make people like you more, but to strengthen your message. We test whether persuasion-oriented listening can change minds by shaping how arguments are received, offering a fresh approach to reducing resistance in polarized conversations.
